He participated in some heinous experiments on behalf of Orochimaru, and Kabuto often claimed to want to become the perfect ninja by whatsoever means necessary.

One could debate he came close, merely not for whatever particularly interesting reasons. In the end, he sort of just became the ultimate Orochimaru fanboy. One could argue he became the Orochimaru replacement, but that doesn't actually piece of work seeing every bit Orochimaru never died and may be effectively immortal after all, making Kabuto feel a little needless in the end.

thirteen Tenten

To put it kindly, Tenten was ane of those innumerable and forgettable characters that existed simply considering they had to. Despite claiming to be a powerful shinobi, she lost against the Temari pretty easily. Fuinjutsu is her specialty and all the same, she'due south unable to qualify in the Chunin Exams. While many characters in Naruto do get character development, Tenten remains useless throughout.

The worst function is how poorly written her character is, like an afterthought by the writers. For example, her powers could have easily been able to cease Madara from using the Treasured Tools, but similar was the case with all the battles she was (or wasn't involved in), her powers were never fully utilized.

12 Konohamaru

Konohamaru was a scrap endearing if exceedingly grating early on in Naruto. He was a generic snotty petty kid who nonetheless idolized Naruto Uzumaki and wanted to become simply like him. That said, he was ofttimes getting into danger and felt a little "useless" in this globe of lightning blades and summoning behemothic animals.

That said, some of this hatred has shed from Konohamaru. He learned the Rasengan technique from Naruto and has get a Jonin team leader in his adulthood in Boruto. However, many people still but call up him as the annoying child character.

11 Karin

Karin was part of villain Sasuke's unit called Taka. She boasted of coming from the esteemed Uzumaki bloodline, the one that Naruto'southward female parent was as well a part of. But her character was portrayed as the (negatively) stereotypical crazy girl who had goose egg but obsession for a man and would get to whatsoever lengths for him.

What was deeply ironic was how Sasuke treated her poorly, fifty-fifty leaving her for dead. Yet, despite everything he made her become through, Karin wanted nil more than to exist in a toxic relationship with a toxic man. 9 Rasa

Let's face it – Rasa was a terrible husband, father and an overall human beingness. He performed literal experiments on his pregnant wife and unborn kid (remember when he sealed a brute within his baby?). Every bit a result, his wife died and his child turned out to be an insanely overpowered character who couldn't control his ain powers.

What was worse was that considering he didn't want to deal with the mess he'd created (his monster son), he sent assassins to "take care of him" instead. Don't expect anyone to mention him during the next Begetter'southward Day outcome.

8 Hinata Hyuga

At this point, it'south non really surprising to see more women than men here. Apart from her non-existent character development and very little screen time, Hinata served no actual purpose. 5 Boruto Uzumaki

In a grand bit of irony, Boruto Uzumaki is largely the near hated character in his own anime. He has a similar personality to his father in many ways, just he's also then rebellious that he doesn't feel a true allegiance to his own village or his family.

It's been foreshadowed that he will commit bad deeds in the future that will turn ultimately disastrous, and it seems that fans didn't really take to a new Naruto but worse.

four Sasuke Uchiha

The problem isn't equally much with Sasuke, every bit information technology is with his fans who defend him blindly. Certain, people are allowed to love circuitous or inherently evil characters. But to constantly excuse said character's horrible actions with justifications like "He's nil but a misunderstood graphic symbol!" doesn't really hold any water.

3 Sakura Haruno

Weak, shallow, totally in honey with Sasuke (who couldn't intendance less if she lived or died) – these are the defining characteristics of Sakura. She breaks off her friendship with Ino over Sasuke (which makes her a terrible friend) and she'south side by side to useless in important fights, like the ones with Kaguya and Obito.

Her hatred towards Naruto exists simply because it has to, but in her defense, Sasuke did a lot worse than her. Just despite this, she has fewer people defending her every bit a character than the literally genocidal Sasuke.

2 Orochimaru

Orochimaru is perhaps ane of the more legitimate entries in this listing, as he'south rightfully hated for all the evil that he's done, like killing orphans to brand himself immortal.
